- HQC paint is an ideal product for exterior work. Suitable for DIY and professionals. It’s a water-based paint that adds water protection and reduce moss, lichen and algae.
- Great opacity, non-dripping paint, that’s why it’s good for DIY, great adhesion to the surface and has low odour.
- Formulated to protect exterior walls against extreme weather conditions.
- Once fully cured, HQC will prevent water from penetrating the wall surface whilst still allowing water vapour to pass. This means residual dampness within the wall can evaporate.
- A wet wall is a cold wall! For example, a wet fletton brick is half as thermally efficient as a dry one. By keeping the building materials dry, HQC Weathershield minimises heat loss on masonry walls.

Ordered a tester to check colour and as it was a good match, ordered a can. It came in can marked up as 'Landlord Paint' not HQC, but looked the right colour of Terracotta. Slapped it on and it was fine. A good thick consistency and spread easily without running. Threat of rain stopped play, so couldn't finish. However my impression is that is a good quality paint, not like some of the coloured water masquerading as outdoor paint. Although it was more expensive than stuff from DIY sheds, you can't odds ordering in the evening and delivery before 10.00am next day. In summary, seems an excellent product and saved trawling the DIY sheds for the correct colour paint.

In comparison with the lighter colour I had already used, this paint was somewhat thicker and harder to apply especially the edges. Not sure I want to work with a dark colour like this again due to how it looks on the wall.
