I don't often write reviews but felt I had to pass on my experiences of this paint. When I moved into my house there was very bad damp staining on one of the walls in our sitting room. It is partly due to deposits from the fireplace but also due to old solid brick walls and incorrect plastering. As it is a party wall there is very little I can do about the actual structure. I didn't want the mess of taking the plaster all down and from experience have found this to be a pointless waste of money as it always come back. So I stumbled across this paint, the reviews sounded good, and I thought what the heck I may as well give this one a go as well, having used at least 5 different other brands already, all of which were both expensive and utterly useless. First impressions of this paint was that the colour was lovely and rich (I used a magnolia colour), the paint itself thick and creamy and very little smell for something that was supposed to cover damp. It went on very easily using a roller but also gives a great finish from a quality brush. I have gave it two coats on the other walls and three on the patch of wall that needed covering. It is a textured finish but you don't see it even when you look closely, only when you run your fingers across it - doesn't bother me. It dried very quickly and I was very happy indeed with the finish - absolutely transformed the room. 10 months later and it still looks fantastic - absolutely no trace whatsoever of the previous damp and staining - I have also noticed that the room feels a little warmer than last year - quicker to heat up. Would you believe it this stuff actually works! It does the job its supposed to do but also looks great. I am just about to move into another old house with a few minor damp issues (i'll never learn) so will be buying some more soon for sure. So yes, its quite expensive but it worked great for me - i hope it does for you too!

This is the second tin I've bought, perfect colour match to tin, superb coverage, great consistency and zero drips. One coat normally does the job too. Highly recommend this paint and it's the only one I'll use now, perfect

This paint is brilliant. Easy to apply and does what it says on the can. I have an old cottage which is difficult to keep warm and damp free but this paint is certainly helping.
