I used this to fix the leaky fiberglass roof of my horse box. Easy to apply, just paint on with a roller, a couple of coats and it is completely waterproof with the added bonus of repairing strips of fiberglass that were sticking up.

Basically time will tell! Looks solid when dry. I applied three coats for damp proving a cupboard wall, which was suffering from rising damp. no damp seems to be registering in a damp collector I have put in the cupboard so far. The damp solution dries quite hard. Can’t understand why they call it a rubber coating!Seems to have no or very little flexibility to me. In summary, quite happy with the results thus far.

It is reduiculously expensive but it works well to seal, secure and remains flexible. Just needs to be a lot cheaper.

I like this product!! , I brushed it on as thick as i could, used the paint brush and scooped it out then put it on as thick as I could without causing runs. That said.... Im still going to put on blueskin membrane, I don’t think this is a substitute but a good base and instead of the recommended primer. it would need multiple coats like the can tells you to ensure its sealed if this is your only source, I don’t have time for that. There is a lot of small air bubbles but might be because of the thick coat ...i’m not worried because like I said I will also use the membrane. This was enjoyable to apply and all I could think of was chocolate pudding, It goes on brown then dries black, its has the thickness of pudding or mayo, and covers extremely well ! was a good price compared to other options and used aprx half the pail to do aprx 200sq ft, and its a THICK single coat, multi coats are recommended. I will definitely buy this again and from the same supplier. I received it extremely fast ! I think it was 2 days. I tried to roll it and it works fine but too thin for my liking and would recommend fluffy roller because the pits in concrete would not fill in. As for spray application I don’t see how that happening... It also dries nicely and quick enough ! I din’t notice any odour either . I’m looking forward to having another project I can use the rest on, and buying another pail is highly likely! So depends on your project I would say Try this out,

Considering the cost, the actual high quality of the product and the "relative" ease of application to exterior and interior walls; I believe this to be one of the BEST products on the marketplace! I am a retired licensed civil and mechanical engineer and in my late 60's, so I know and appreciate a good quality product when I see and use one!. I can afford to have someone else do my odd jobs or even quasi-major ones like basement waterproofing. However, I'm retired with too much time on my hands and this "waterproofing" job needed to be done so, in the interests of brevity here goes. First off, apply this stuff to clean (scraped, sanded, or repatched holes in basement walls be they cinderblock or fieldstone) surfaces. In my case I had to scrape out the old lime based cement used in-between the fieldstone foundation of my community walled 120 year old, Brooklyn Brownstone, rowhouse because after so many years it just disintegrated, allowing moisture and water invasion. I plugged up the joints holes with hydraulic cement (relatively inexpensive, even on this site OR from a big box) let them dry because hydraulic cement dries so fast tyou can only use very small batches at a time. I did not say this was fast work, however it ain't rocket science either so all you need is time and patience. Though I did not need to do so, I covered my interior basement walls with Sakcrete "topping or patching" cement which is premixed and applies easily AND has a long work time to batch size ratio. I felt that the Liquid rubber foundation sealant product would have better "purchace" or attach better to the coated rock schist surface. That being said, after all surfaces were prepared it was a simple matter of applying (in my case with a whitewash brush but on flat surfaces such as a cement block wall, a roller with a medium "nap" will work fine) the material. I would recommend applying between 60 to 80 degrees F. for best, even drying times but of course humidity will be a factor. This product dries medium "tacky" so I would allow a few extra days drying time if that's within your work time frame and IF you intend to paint over the rubber material which is black. There is no reason NOT to,leave it black but I find a white or light color helps with light dissemination and seems a little more pleasant to look at. Essentially, those are the instructions on the can but if you go to their website (also on the can and on Amazon's product webpage description) you can find more info on applications/ coatings, etc.! I highly recommend this stuff, I've used many other brands in similar situations including the funny looking and sounding guy on TV in his "flexibly sealed rubber coated screen boat," and I find this material not only more effective but MUCH less expensive by far whilst being a far superior product to use.

Replaced probably a 100 or so fence posts for our pasture, I wanted to make sure this is the last time I have to in my lifetime. Coated them up to ground level then painted from ground level up. I can already tell you these things may never rot. Awesome product, easy to apply and quick to dry

Easy to apply, it has consistency of yogurt, so it goes on a vertical surface such as a basement wall no issues at all. I applied three coats over top of 40 year old damp proofing, no problem. Sticks to anything really well. NOT a tar based product, dried much faster than tar and I did not find the odor particularly strong. Barely tacky within a few hours, I let it try a few days because I was applying rigid foam over top of the liquid rubber, on the exterior of a foundation wall. But you could probably get away with applying rigid foam over top after 24 hours, if that's your application. As a test, I applied some liquid rubber directly to some scrap expanded polystyrene and it did not seem to react. But I would still avoid contact with non cured product just be be safe.

Bought this product to seal the lower section of the walls in the garage. used it on the outside first, went on easy as advertised. Applied it to the inside walls, so far it is working. Next spring will be the big test, will update review at that time. Only problem I had was on the packaging. It has a label noting HEAVY ITEM, but not THIS SIDE UP. Driver put the package upside down. Good job the lid was secure.
