Purchased this item with apprehension initially due the price and the amount we needed in our new home. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality and when applying to the many walls realised how easy it was compared to other brands. Liquid is thin but dries quickly and creates a very good barrier when you follow the instructions. Everything you need is in the box so it’s a functional and well priced. We have not had any issues of water/ damp since applying to the walls and used it as a starting coat, followed but damp proof paint and then a further decorative coat.

Came woth everything you need. Brish and gloves, gloves are recommended to protect hand it's quite thick and gooey. Only a small rub but big enough for what I needed to paint the outside window ledge for my granda as all the protective paint was peeling off the brick. Took a good day to dry enough put it in a bit thick so don't miss any sections. Seems to of worked well used more as a prevention than a solution.

This review is for the 'Qiveaory 500G/18Fl.oz Transparent Waterproof Coating Invisible Waterproof Agent Set with Indoor&Outdoor Insulating Sealant with Wooden Brush Cut Resistant Work Gloves.' This waterproof coating arrives in a sealed plastic tub along with a small soft brush and a pair of protective gloves. It looks just as shown on the Amazon listing photos. The label has details and instructions on it but the writing is extremely tiny, difficult for me to see even with reading glasses on. It is suitable for use indoors and outdoors. Useful for cracks and repairs. It dries with a transparent finish.

I have attempted to mend a leaking felt-covered flat roof using this waterproof coating. Time will tell about its effectiveness, but this runny, PVA-like substance seems sticky enough to do the job. However, my main issue is that the instructions suggest it needs to remain dry for 7 days after application, meaning this should probably only be applied outdoors during Spring or Summer. Priced at £81.99 at the time of review, this is more expensive than many other options, although being quite a thin substance, the contents of this 5KG pot go a long way, even when thickly applied with a brush. The instructions provided are extremely basic although it is mentioned that you should avoid prolonged exposure to skin and all contact with eyes. It's important to wear safety goggles as the substance splashes easily. I would also advise others to wear proper safety gloves rather than the pair provided which absorb fluids and are therefore mostly useless. Be careful when opening the pot as the lid design is very poor. I needed to apply excessive force to remove the flimsy plastic lid after the plastic 'zipper' failed to work properly. This put me at risk of this watery substance splashing into my face as it eventually popped open.

I've found two coats is enough for all but the most absorbent wood. It spreads well although it's best to work quite quickly with it as it gets tacky quite quickly on some surfaces. Dries in a few hours to a completely transparent finish, I've not even noticed any sign of a glossy surface or even a slight sheen for that matter.
