Colour and ability to cover wood all very good. Dried quickly enough for second coat on the same day. Cannot yet testify to weather proofing capacity. Sills all south-facing so subjec to strong sunlight.

It's OK for the price. Could have slightly better coverage. But at half the price of Dulux Weathershield, I am somewhat happy. Needs two coats where Dulux only needs one and is too runny. Tip: Apply thinly, otherwise you end up with crazing as the paint dries, ie. cracks in the surface as the already dried top paint layer gets contracted once the still wet paint underneath dries. Never had this with Dulux paint despite liberally applied.

Mad Rat
It's a bit runny, needs to be a bit more viscose, but it goes on nicely over a previously prepped & undercoated surface. First photo is of undercoat (light colour) & this paint applied to wooden window frame (darker colour). It looks a 'poo' brown colour when applied, but as it dries , the colour darkens nicely (see second photo). I used 25mm wide masking tape on the windows, it takes a bit more time, but means I don't have to scrub off any paint I get on the windows with course wirewool. 1x 750ml tin has, so far, done a large 5 pane bay window frame & partly a doorframe, I say partly, as before I could finish painting the door frame, it unexpectedly rained, only a quick heavy shower, but enough to stop painting further. Fortunately the parts I had already painted had dried before the rain shower and provided great waterproofing straight away. My brushes were easy to clean using washing up liquid & water. My frames look good now with a good lustre to them. I have enough left in the tin to finish off painting my doorframe, when the rain stops and it dries out a but.
