This product came vacuum pressed to reduce postage costs, so they arrived flat. You need to soak them in water and dry them before applying them to whatever you want to apply them to. Unfortunately not many people understand how this material work and they don't bother to read the instruction! All ordered foams expanded after soaking and drying. They are thinner than expected even after the process, but they did somewhat reduce the echo that was obvious in my office before. You need a lot of them if you want them to be more effective. I'm sure there are better similar products out there, but for the price this was worth it.

A pack of 12 square acoustic foam panels, each 31 x 31 cm and just over 2 cm thick; each with five double sided self-adhesive pads. Flat / vacuum packed so you’ll have to leave them for a day to expand before fitting, ideally at opposing angles as shown in the images. The dark grey / black contrasts nicely with light coloured or white walls. Quick and easy to install in my grandson’s gaming room, he’s over the moon that his microphone’s “empty room” echoes and some of the background noise has gone. Definitely worth it, even though the foam is slightly thinner than expected.

Almost all panels received were ~ 300x305mm thus smaller than the stated 12"x12" (12" = 304.8mm). Some panels were 300x300mm requiring me to trim ALL the panels down to 300x300mm to remove gaps.

I was a bit worried these foam panels will be a disaster and it was all down to them arriving so flat packed I actually thought there's only one inside. But I was wrong, and although they are not the best, they are good enough to have a sound proofing impact. These panels arrived vacuum sealed and upon opening I've left them for two days to get to their original state before even thinking about writing a review. Luckily they do spark up and get some depth to them, about good 2cm. Now, with 12 pieces you get 90x120cm which isn't much, but it can be useful in certain occasions. Now, my daughter has a wardrobe on one side of the room where there is about 20cm gap between wardrobe and wall on the left. Placed from ceiling to flor will be more than sufficient of them to cover 300cm height x 20cm width gap. Are these top quality? No. What they are is what you pay for and do help substantially to reduce the sound.

The panels themselves are fine but we put them up today using the sticky tabs provided and they all fell off within 10 minutes. Admittedly these are half the price of panels with self adhesive strips on the back but annoying that we spent time (that we really haven’t got!) putting these up, only to watch them all fall down again. Supplier needs to either provide better adhesive or make it clear in the description that additional adhesive might be required.

applying and sticking the foam to any wall is one thing but it to hold on for more than 30 mins is saying to much as it will just fall away from the stickers given let alone not doing much for sound dampening. save your money and dont buy! if i could give a zero i would!

These acoustic foam panels arrived vacuum sealed and require most of the day for them to expand to their original size. You can soak them in water and dry them out for a better expansion, but it takes longer to dry them. These are an extremely easy and cost-effective way to reduce echo in a room as the foam panels absorb the noise. They are lightweight and I found them easy to install on to the wall with some spray adhesive. There was a difference with the sound in the room and they seemed to improve clarity in the audio. These panels are reasonably thin which means that they are more effective for higher frequencies where thicker ones are more for absorbing lower frequencies. Overall, these are reasonably priced and offer reasonable noise reduction for their cost.

These panels got to the stated height in about 3 days once opened. They had a little smell when first opened, but that dissipated quickly. The pack came with sticky pads. It's a bit less convenient than the ones that have a fully adhesive backing, but it means they can be reused if I need to move them in the future. They significantly improved the acoustics in my office, reducing the echoes when I take calls or video calls.
