Needed some masonry paint to cover a small area of unfinished rendering over our front porch. The can was a bit big for my needs but it seemed like good value and it's always handy to have some masonry paint around. I cant fault the paint, is was easy to apply and coverage/finish was excellent. I can't comment on the weatherproofing as I was applying the paint to a covered area of our porch. However it looks good and seems to have sealed the rendering very well. Cleaning up was easy too as the paint is water based. Some previous reviewers have reported problems with the item leaking during transit and arriving in a poor state. I think the seller has noted these issues and has tried to remedy them by wrapping the can in a strong shrink plastic. As you can see from my photo, this has worked OK and stopped the paint from leaking everywhere but the lid has still popped off in transit. Fortunately in my case the leakage was minimum and restricted to the inside of the plastic wrap. If the item had arrived safely I would have given it 5 stars! The seller should perhaps include some bubble-wrap in the packing and warnings on the box to handle with care and keep upright. The Amazon shipping/handling and shipping team should also take more care with such items...

Good product. However, the bucket was punctured - not much spillage as I could see the break before removing the outer seal and managed to transfer the paint into a bucket. I would suggest packing this with an arrow suggesting fragile and to 'keep this way up'.

This is good quality paint and I have used it many times. Local stockists are hard to find now, so I was delighted to find it on Amazon for a very reasonable price, with next day delivery too. The tin was packaged in a box that had instructions on it to keep upright. But this box was then laid down on its side in a bigger box! The lid on the paint was almost off when the paint was delivered with a small amount of leakage. Could have been much worse if I hadn’t opened the packaging immediately. Brilliant paint, but packaging needs a re-think.
